New cars to be launched in 2012 - Autos - Cars

<p>This year so far seen as a boom in the Indian auto industry and the best part is yet to come. This is the time, when all the major companies are moving towards Indian auto market with newer and newer models. In the coming year almost every major car maker is going to introduce its new or revamped car. In the coming year so many launches are lined up. The car companies are poring out hot metals out of their companies.</p>



<p>Let's switch towards the New Cars In 2012. In the coming year many new cars will be launched that includes, Honda City New, Tata Merlin, Renault Pulse, new Ford Fiesta AT, Hyundai i10 diesel, Volkswagen UP, and many other cars. T is expected that many cars get unveiled in the 2012, Auto Expo Show, in Delhi. In the upcoming year, almost all maker car players will play their cards either it is a hatchback, sedan, SUV or any other segment. Hatchback is the most popular segment in indian Auto market and generally people refer small cars. So, hatchbacks will have major share of new cars in 2012. in 2012, Maruti is going to introduce the diesel trim of its popular hatch Wagon R . To compete, Maruti Wagon R, Hyundai will also introduced the diesel variant of i10. Apart from this, South Korean auto manufacturer had recently introduced its hatchback named EON and in 2012, it is going to launch its LPG variant. In the race of small car VW will also launch its hatchback VW Up!.</p>



<p>Apart from compact cars, the companies will also introduced Sedan and SUVs. The home ground company Tata will launch its SUV name as Tata Merlin and it is expected that this SUV will be placed around 10lakh rupees. Ford is coming with Ford Ecosport, the mini-SUV, is expected to hit Indian shores in February 2012. In sedan segment, Honda will introduce the redesigned version of its most popular sedan I.e. City. Ford will also launch the Automatic transmission in its popular sedan name as Ford Fiesta AT. Besides, this many lucury car company will also launch their cars. It is expected that in 2012, approximately 183 new cars will unveiled.</p>
