New Maruti Cars Launched 2011 - Autos - Cars

<p>The beginning of this year saw launch of the highly anticipated premium sedan called Maruti Suzuki Kizashi. Among other launched new Maruti cars in 2011, the Maruti Suzuki Kizashi is quite different, in terms of looks as well as features. The company has already excelled in the hatchback segment and with Kizashi, Maruti is planning on doing the same in the luxury sedan segment as well.</p>

<p>Maruti Suzuki Kizashi comes in two variants, namely the Kizashi MT and Kizashi AT. The price of the new model fall within the range of Rs. 18 to 20 lacs. Kizashi MT is the petrol version, while Kizashi AT is the diesel variant. Both variants are powered with 2393 cc, 4 cylinder engine, which has the capacity of producing 178 bhp of maximum power.</p>

<p>The appealing new Maruti Swift is available in both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variant is powered with 1.2 litre 1197 cc engine, capable of generating peak power of 85 bhp at 6000 rpm and 114 Nm of maximum torque at 4000 rpm. On the other hand, the diesel variant comes with 1.25 litre DDis engine and 1248 cc displacement. The maximum power output of new Maruti Swift diesel variant is 74 bhp at 4000 rpm and maximum torque generated is 190 Nm at 2000 rpm.</p>

<p>One of the aces is the high mileage that this hatchback can deliver. The new Maruti Swift diesel variant offers a certified mileage of 22.9 kmpl, whereas the petrol variant is capable of providing fuel efficiency of 18.6 kmpl. This improved hatchback model is one of the best new Maruti cars in 2011 and is quite popular among the Indian customers looking for a high performing small car.</p>

<p>New Maruti cars in 2011 have been able to garner positive reviews as these not only render optimum fuel economy and performance, but also take care of comfort and safety of the passengers. New Maruti Swift versions are fitted with innovative features like effective air-conditioning system with climate control, power steering, remote controlled central locking and adjustable steering wheel.
