Honda Brio small car launched in India today - Autos - Cars

<p>So Honda India here removes the veil from most awaited small car and announces its foray in highly competitive low priced compact car segment. Well to be precise the Japanese auto maker has launched its new hatchback in India today. Designed to take on the likes of Hyundai i 10 and Chevrolet Beat the all new hatchback Brio is unveiled in Delhi.</p>



<p>The big stories of high amount of localization and better production competency with Honda's strategy behind low pricing tag ahead of Brio's launch seems to be true. well without messing up the things let you know the prices of all new small car. Honda price falls in the range of Rs 3.95 Lakh to Rs 5.1 lakh(ex showroom , Delhi). With 4 trim levels naming as Brio S, Honda v, Brio S Option and Brio E, the car is available in six color options. Targeted towards small car buyers who usually desire an affordable contemporary car. Though the current localization on the Honda stands at 80% but company wants to enhance this figure up to 95% in upcoming few months.</p>



<p>The Brio is adorned with the same Honda Jazz 4 cylindrical 1.2 Liter i-VTEC petrol engine, however a Lil bit changes in gearing has been done for better fuel economy. Mated with 6 speed manual gear box The engine equipped here is able to churn out 88 Bhp of peak power and 109 Nm of peak torque, which is slightly lower then Honda Jazz engine power of 90 Bhp. The car headed with ARAI certified mileage of 18.4 kmpl.</p>



<p>Designed on the theory of "Man Maximum, Machine Minimum" the new hatchback is more driver centric then other cars. Either it is interiors and safety or overall driving experience of car, the philosophy seems to be present everywhere. Well one more unique work done by Honda on the car that it has adopted greener production processes for lowering down the impact on environment. <p>The safety and advanced features are offered according to the variants prices. As the most basic starting level variant Honda E is coming with power windows, air conditioning and power steering. The next variant Brio S includes rear power windows and few other comfort features along with above mentioned features of Brio E. Stepping to S variant we will find airbags and ABS in the line up. and now the final and most advanced variant Brio S Option comes with dual tone beige interiors and all the safety and security features.</p>
