Audi plans to launch new cars in India - Autos - Cars

<p>Audi, the German car maker, has recorded a tremendous up in sales in last year and positioned itself at number two spot in Global automotive industry. Audi India also grabbed good amount of sales in India as well and they are planning to continue this success in 2012 as well. In order to cope up with other market leaders like BMW India and Mercedes Benz India, Audi India is now planning to strengthen its portfolio and is all ready to include more products to their line-up including cheaper small cars such as Q3 SUV, A3 sedan and new A4. It also going to introduce some class leading four wheelers such as Audi A5, Audi' S6 and Audi A8 electric. Here is the overview on upcoming Audi cars in India.</p>



<p>Audi A3 : Audi A3 will be one of the cheapest sedan car from the company in India. It will be an entry level sedan which is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 20 lakh to Rs. 23 lakh. It is also speculated that A3 will be available in both petrol and diesel power-plants. So it is quite possible that the German auto biggie might include a 2-litre 4 cylinder TDI engine and a 1.8 litre or 2.0 litre petrol engines in the A3 sedan. The engine of the car is likely to be linked with a six speed manual transmissions or a six speed DSG automatic gearbox.</p>



<p>Audi A5 : Audi A5, basically a coupe, is also expected to hit Indian shores this year. The class leading and sportier design is enough to attract young and sports lover in India. It is speculated that it will come in three different versions namely a 3.2 litre V6 and a 4.2 litre V8 petrol engine, and in a 3.0 litre diesel version. This sedan will include various advanced German technological features such as ABS, ESC (electronic stability control), EBD, Traction Control, state of the art infotainment system, headlight range adjustment etc...</p>



<p>Audi Q3 : Audi India had recently unveiled Audi Q3 crossover SUV at the auspicious 11th Indian Auto Expo 2012 and is soon going to hit Indian roads. It is the most-anticipated sports utility vehicle from the German auto major and will compete against its biggest competitor BMW X1 in Indian automotive industry. This five door SUV is expected to suit Indian conditions as its small size allows its user to run it in busiest of Indian streets. It is likely to be available in two engine configurations - the 2.0 litre petrol engine and 2.0 litre diesel engine. The petrol car is capable of generating 170 BHP of max power and the diesel variant will generate 140 BHP of top output power.</p>



<p>New Audi A4 : Audi India is gearing up to launch its all new revamped version of A4 sedan car in Indian automotive industry. This sedan car is well known for its sportier, aggressive and class leading looks. Now the new look further enhances the overall beauty of the car. The newly formulated exterior and revamped interior will provide more refreshed and more appealing looks then the outgoing model.</p>



<p>Audi S6 : Audi S6 reflects the true German artistry and will soon going to hit Indian shores. This sporty four wheeler will house a new engine configurations including a 4L twin-turbo V8 which generates hefty output power and ample torque. The S6 Avant variant which comes loaded with a 4.0L TFSI engine is capable of generating 420 BHP of hefty power.</p>
